Week Two

For those of you who are not on Facebook, I hired a Personal Trainer last week to help me build strength in my muscles and get into better shape. Now, he comes twice a week and Yes...it was a bit trying. This week on Tuesday we did some boxing, floor and band work. When he showed up today, his Greeting was; Hi. I'll bet your a bit sore from our last work-out. My reply; Actually, No. Not at all, I feel great! "WAY Wrong thing to say!!!" He proceeded to put me through a "Work-Out from H- E-double L"! No kidding, holey crap, I can't feel my legs. The whole time I was thinking..I'm paying this Man to do this, I must be insane! However when I wake up in the morning feeling better than I did last week.. I'll be grateful for his help and assertiveness. I honestly feel blessed that I still have to ability to keep in shape, I see so many people with MS in wheelchairs or having to use the Florida crutches-"crutch with the arm band". It's been quite a few years for me..but I feel that I owe my health to staying away from all the medications they wanted me to take, eating fresh fruits, foods and walking everyday. So, there you go...Just because you get diagnosed with something horrible, it does not mean you have to accept the projected outcome.
Be good to your body...it's the only one you'll ever have.
